On the northeastern corner of La Sabana Park, this 11-story hotel has an odd architectural style that makes it look like a cross between a pyramid, an air-traffic control tower and a Soviet-era housing block. But it’s quite handsome inside, with a huge lobby and oversized and very comfortable guest rooms. A remodel has given most of the rooms happy tangerine-colored walls, fine dark wood furnishings, 37-inch flatscreen TVs and luxurious bedding. There‘s a casino, a Japanese hibachi restaurant, a few other dining options, and a spacious pool area.
