This growing international hostel chain targeting the millennial set isn’t your typical grungy backpacker dorm. Sure, there are inexpensive 4- to 10-bed dorm rooms in their San José location, which opened in late 2016, but there are also a variety of private rooms and even suites with retro furnishings and the same amenities as pricier hotels around town. The maze-like building is something of a social center for digital nomads, and the restaurant and bar feature original menus created by local chefs and bartenders. There are also regular yoga sessions on an upstairs terrace and a co-working space across the street.
