Chietón Morén means “fair deal” in the Boruca language. This place features arts and craft works from a dozen or so different Costa Rican indigenous communities displayed in a space that is part museum and part showroom and market. It operates as a nonprofit and is certified “fair trade,” and all profits are given directly back to the artisans and their communities. Offerings include a wide range of textiles, carved masks, prints, and jewelry.
