This sleek restaurant-lounge on the beach is the perfect spot to break from the sun for a cool tropical drink or tasty snack. The short, simple beach menu trots the globe, but hits all the tropics-friendly spots from an Asian chicken wrap to Ahi tuna tacos to plantain crusted calamari. A lunch menu widens to offer a few sandwiches and entrees, and the dinner menu brings in vegetarian and shrimp pad-Thai plates and some tasty entrees, like guava roast pork. It's a nice place for a sunset dinner, but don't wait much longer to eat. When night falls, the volume turns up and Oceano becomes more lounge than restaurant. Service is spotty, but it hardly matters given the setting (get a table on the beachfront patio). The crowd's as fashionable as the establishment.
