Orientation & Getting Around

The church, national theater, and town's largest grocery store are all on or within a short walk of the main square, which is called Parque David J. Guzman. You'll need to take a short $2 taxi ride to the Museo Regional de Oriente. Taxis are readily available on the main square or can be called from the front desk of your hotel. The only bus you'll need around the city is no. 384, which travels to Laguna de Olemega. San Miguel's large bus terminal (6a Calle Oriente; no phone) has departures to Honduras, San Salvador, and other parts of the country daily.
