Visitor Information & Fast Facts -- San Vicente has no tourist office, but information in Spanish is available at the city's Casa de la Cultura (Av. Norte #3, Barrio San Francisco; tel. 503/2393-6729).

Getting There

From San Salvador, you can take bus no. 116 to the center of town. It takes 1 1/2 hours and costs 80¢. If you're driving, San Vicente is just a few miles off Carretera Panamericana (the Pan-American Highway) and is well marked.

Getting Around

The tower and Iglesia Pilar are on or within walking distance of the square. San Vincent's best hotel, Posada Don Pablito, is about a 10-minute walk from the center.
