This sweet (in more ways than one) little spot is what is called a “living museum” where visitors can watch and learn how to make homemade jam using old school recipes in a turn-of-the-century kitchen. But that’s not all. The kitchen is attached to the Green Briar Nature Center, which offers natural history programs for children and adults year-round. Guided Wildflower Garden Tours are offered Tuesdays at 10am June, July, and August. The property is a sanctuary located on the shores of Smiling Pool.
