Serving three meals a day in four restaurants plus the tavern, the dining operations of the Dan’l Webster Inn are busy day and night. But despite the volume, the chef does a top-notch job delivering from a wide-ranging menu that has items to please all manner of eaters. The menu mixes old New England favorites like prime rib with more delicate offerings. An on-site pastry chef means dessert is also freshly made. The “green” menu includes vegetarian selections and uses organic ingredients, including free-range chicken. The tavern menu has soups, sandwiches, pizzas, and burgers. There is fireside dining in the Music or Webster rooms, garden-side dining in the sky-lit Conservatory, and more casual dining in the tavern; you can also dine outside in season.
