A cozy Key West-style bistro, Keylime is a small place with huge charm. Service is friendly and the food is good. Like most restaurants around here (The Bubble Room excepted), the décor is colorful, tropical, and beachy, with nothing to write home about. Outdoor seating on the street-side patio is prime at night when there's live music. It's also a people-watching hot spot, as beach bums rush for the waves and sand down the block. A seafood-centric menu offers great dishes like paella Valencia, a flavorful fusion of shrimp, scallops, chicken, sausage, and artichoke hearts in a light broth. Blue crab cakes are stuffed with crab, not filler. The coup de grace is the Key lime pie. Makes sense, right? Breakfast is great, too, and on Sundays there's a really sublime (no pun intended) jazz brunch with delicious Bloody Marys.
