No “Santa Fe charm” here, but a very nice, modern hotel with spacious and well-appointed rooms sporting light colors, large windows, and separate living and sleeping areas. It’s the sort of place you could move into long-term, and although its main purpose is to serve business and extended-stay guests, the Hyatt Place also works well for vacationers. Rooms have two queen-sized beds or one king, plus an oversized sofa-sleeper or sofa; and because the hotel caters to business travelers, each unit has a separate work area and remote printing. Located near the south end of Cerrillos Road, it is not within walking distance of most of Santa Fe’s attractions, but there is complimentary shuttle service to anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel.
