A member of the well-known and respected KOA chain, this commercial campground provides exactly what you would expect from a KOA, except there’s no pool. But it does have trees. About 11 miles northeast of Santa Fe, it sits among the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in northern New Mexico’s pine-filled high desert. It offers the usual amenities and some attractive camping cabins, where you’ll either share a bathhouse with other campers or have your own private bathroom.
