The Keti has a spectacular and quiet cliff side setting that is a steep five-minute walk down a stepped path into central Fira. Most rooms here are on the small side, with arched ceilings and white, white walls. Many rooms are cut into the caldera it self, in imitation of traditional Fira cliff-side cave dwellings. The Keti recently redecorated; the furnishings are simple, functional, and pleasant, but not memorable. Rooms overlook both the caldera (and all those cruise ships coming and going) and the hotel's own terrace. There is an outdoor Jacuzzi and the superior double rooms have spa tubs, which may compensate for the lack of a pool. In short, this small family-owned hotel offers value in a smart location,
