The Regent Park sits on one of the most upscale streets in São Paulo, Rua Oscar Freire, and is just a block from the ritzy Hotel Emiliano—but you'd never guess that from the room rates. All of the units are full suites, and feature a living room furnished with a sofa and a dining table, a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, and a kitchen with a stove, fridge, dishes, and cookware. There's even a gym, a sauna, a small sundeck, and an outdoor swimming pool on the top floor. Although well-maintained and spotless, the hotel's 1990s decorations and beige furniture lack a bit of pizzazz. However, the Regent Park's outstanding location, spacious rooms, affordable price, and friendly service more than compensate for its lack of trendiness.
