As the name suggests, this intriguing B&B has foundations that date all the way back to 1790, with major additions in the 1820s and 1888, with the separate Guest House building a beautiful Georgian built in 1875 just across the road. Everything was completely renovated in 2011. Rooms are furnished in the usual blend of antique furniture and modern amenities, while the continental breakfast is standard fare. In grand Savannah tradition, the main building is reputed to have its own ghost. There’s even a section on the website dedicated to “hauntings”. Note that parking is limited and first-come first served.
