This gorgeous and justly popular B&B was converted from a beautiful 1889 Victorian home, showcasing the very best of Southern hospitality. Located at the southwest corner of Forsyth Park, it’s a little apart from the main section of the Historic District, but that hardly matters. This is a bit like living in a Savannah mansion of your own; all the rooms are upstairs and are furnished with four-posters, antique chairs, and period Savannah engravings. The patio at the back is perfect for a quiet couple of hours of reading. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available all day, the breakfasts are works of art, and Maurice Norman is a gracious and knowledgeable host. With just five rooms and relatively low prices, you must make reservations here several months in advance.
