This stately old Victorian conservatory, built in 1912, is one of only three on the West Coast. It is 6,200 square feet and has 3,426 panes of glass. Within the greenhouse, you'll find a large collection of tropical and desert plants, including palm trees, orchids, and cacti. There are also seasonal floral displays. Both the plants and the building are beautiful and should not be missed. It's especially rewarding to visit on a rainy day; despite the dreary weather outside, you'll get to stroll through a little bit of the tropics right here in Seattle.
