This is a serious restaurant with three prix-fixe menus on offer, set in the lovely confines of L’Auberge resort, tucked away along Oak Creek beneath the bustle of Uptown Sedona. The chorizo-wrapped shrimp is a great starter, or the roasted beet salad if you want something lighter. Entrees range from delectable seafood, like the pan-seared scallops, or more substantive meats, like the lamb chops. Everything’s exquisitely presented, right down to the rococo desserts, like the heart-stopping chocolate construction I had on my last visit. The top-line food and romantic setting—with white tablecloths and softly glowing lanterns alongside Oak Creek—makes this a strong contender for Sedona’s don’t-miss meal.
