This tiny little joint does not look like much on the outside, just a pink box with the name and some faux exposed wood columns. Inside, the colorful chairs, tables, and walls add to a casual atmosphere. The namesake tortas are huge and stuffed with so much filling, it's almost impossible to finish one alone. The rest of the menu is the Sonoran-style cuisine found just south of the border and includes the usual street tacos and burritos, but also menudo, pozole, and flautas. Order at the counter and heap on as much salsa as you like from the self-serve salsa bar before grabbing a seat at one of only seven tables. The parking lot is almost smaller than the inside, but you can also park across the street and brave the traffic while crossing.
