Actually only 60 stories tall (3 of its stories are underground), what once used to be the tallest building in the city has now been dwarfed by the 69-story Mokdong Hyperion in Yangcheon and the 73-story Tower Palace in Gangnam. But its exterior still glows an impressive gold, especially at sunset, and its top-floor observation deck provides a great view of the city. Its official name is 63 City, but everyone just calls it the Yuksam Building. The tower includes the country's first large-scale aquarium, an IMAX theater (in three languages), a wax museum, the aforementioned observation sky deck, and a variety of restaurants, including Japanese, Chinese, and Korean places. The ones on the higher floors (56-59) offer the best views, but you'll pay premium prices for the food. If you're watching your budget, head down to the food court on the first-floor basement level.
