Hwagyesa

Located north of downtown Seoul, Hwagyesa sits at the foot of the Samgakshan Mountains. Part of the Chogye Order of Korean Buddhism, it has been home to a long line of Zen masters. The temple is also home to the Seoul International Zen Center (tel. [phone]), where you can do a temple stay and experience Buddhist rituals and meditations.
