Dating back more than a century, these 2-hectare (5-acre) botanical gardens lie on the outskirts of capital Victoria. Fruit bat colonies feed and roost in the swaying palms and spice trees while brightly colored and delicate orchids, including rare native Seychelles' varieties, are displayed in an orchid house.
