Scrumptious food and warm service make this small dining room on a quiet lane in the heart of Shelburne’s heritage district an award winner—it was named Nova Scotia’s "Restaurant of the Year"  in 2011 and "Best Small Restaurant: in 2013. Long time staffer Cora Beck won “Server of the Year” in 2014. Chef Roland Glauser serves up Swiss-inspired food with a Nova Scotia flair, some of it entirely local, like his award winning chowder made with maple smoked salmon and Shelburne’s Boxing Rock beer. The food here can be light and zesty like the Bluenose Spinach Salad with dried blueberries, candied pecans and blue cheese; or substantial like Spaghettini Gorgonzola with chicken, broccoli and green peppercorns or their famous Lobster and Scallops Brandy Gratin. Regardless of your choice, it will be gorgeously presented and packed with flavor.
