Get there by 6:30, before the dinner crowd, and snag a table on the wide wooden verandah and sip drinks while soaking up the jungle greenery of Dempsey Hill. The cool and relaxed space looks like it was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in his later glass-centric years. If you’re staying for dinner, the Caesar salad with grilled prawns is delicious and the giant cakes and pies you’ll see on display when you first enter are a meal in and of themselves. There are five PS Café locations in Singapore and all are atmospheric, but this one is the most lush-eous. Taxi is the most convenient way to get here.
