One of the best bargains in Sitges, this tavern has the florid panache of Modernisme decor combined with the casual atmosphere of a cerveseria (as the Catalans spell “beer hall”). The menu emphasizes fish and shellfish, often in casserole, as well as lamb, kid, and veal grilled with fresh herbs from the nearby mountainside. Beer is usually the drink of choice. Wine selections are limited but local, featuring reds, whites, and rosés from the nearby Penedès region and cava from Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.
