Perigiali Hotel
Gracious hospitality is at the core of this little hotel's appeal. It shines through in the expansive included breakfasts (freshly baked breads, fresh fruits, eggs of all kinds, yogurt, you name it) and in every interaction you'll have with the delightful owner and her staff. It's evident they all take great pride in this place and they should—the tile-floored rooms have a traditional Greek sense of style and are spotlessly clean; the swimming pool and its deck chair area are beautiful and a wonderful place to relax; and the grounds are landscaped with care. Plus the location can't be beat, as it's just a two-minute walk to the beach (and a 15-minute walk from Skiros town). The only negative are the stairs that lead from the road to the hotel, which make it not an appropriate choice for travelers with disabilities.
