One of the longest-running Sonoma favorites for top-quality food, this acclaimed restaurant’s “girl” is chef/proprietress Sondra Bernstein, known for her charcuterie platters and her talent for mixing Provençal cuisine with local Sonoma ingredients. On warm days and eves, the patio seating is special, and the wine list is always a treat. It’s a delightful place to dine, but if you don’t make it here, know that you can now buy Bernstein’s jams and chutneys (and yes, some are made with figs) at stores around the area; they make a great gift.
