You can rent a car service with a driver, but the open-top buses of Sorrento City Sightseeing, Via degli Aranci 172, 80067 Sorrento (tel. 081-8774707; www.sorrento.city-sightseeing.it), are a good option if your time is limited. Departures are from Piazza De Curtis (stazione Circumvesuviana) for the seven-stop, hop-on-and-off loop through Massa Lubrense, Termini, Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, and Sorrento. Tickets are valid for 6 hours and cost 12€ for adults, 6€ for children 5 to 15 (free for children 4 and under), and 45€ for a family (two adults and up to three children). The route to Positano has three departures from Sorrento in the morning and three returns from Positano in the afternoon (round-trip 12€ for adults and 6€ for children). These bus tours run between April and October.

Marine Club (tel. 081-8772621; www.marineclub.it) offers two daily minicruises: One takes in Ischia and Procida, and the other the Sorrentine and Amalfi coasts (with a swimming break in Capri), both with 1- or 2-hour stops at each attraction. The cost is 35€ per person, and the round trip takes a full day.
