The Collector Inn

Once the home of the Dow Museum of Historic Houses and built in 1906, this “carefully curated” adults-only 30-room hotel is a haven for those seeking history but with modern amenities. You won’t smell the must of old times, but you will appreciate the bones that have been bolstered by bougie touches such as triple sheeted king-sized beds, kitchenettes, rain showers, and a fabulous bar, The Well, open daily from 3 to 11pm. There’s a beautiful outdoor heated pool in a courtyard with fire pits. Included in the $35 daily amenity fee is an excellent European-style continental breakfast, a fascinating property history tour, outdoor movies, bikes, afternoon snacks, and valet parking.
