The most memorable places to dine in St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat are both hotel restaurants: the Michelin-starred Le Cap at the Grand Hôtel Cap-Ferrat and the idyllic La Voile d'Or. The earthy fishing port of Saint-Jean is the place for fish. With its blue-and-white decor, portside Le Sloop (tel. 04-93-01-48-63; www.restaurantsloop.com) is best known for the dubious accolade that film director and food critic Michael Winner loves it. However, you'll find better value elsewhere.
