Outside the city walls you’ll find St-Malo’s most innovative restaurant. Set in a lovely stone building facing the Sillon beach, the interior is refined and the best tables overlook the sea. Dishes are beautifully presented, though on the pricey side à la carte, savings can be made with their great value fixed-priced menus. Savor specialties such as fisherman’s choucroute, scallops in butter sauce or filet mignon of pork with chestnuts, or you might be easily tempted by 13 different plateaux de fruit de mer, overflowing with freshly caught shrimp, periwinkle, crab and lobster.
