Plaza Beach Hotel Beachfront Resort
A no-frills, family-friendly beach resort that’s part of a collection of three resorts on St. Pete Beach, this one features 39 rooms that are nothing fancy, but beachy keen (lots of aqua, with vintage beach photos on the walls), immaculately clean, and all with full kitchens. In addition to the beachfront pool, there’s shuffleboard, mini-golf, human-sized chess board, BBQ area, beach cabanas, and hammocks. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The down-to-earth staff contributes to its reputation as the coolest mom-and-pop hotel in the area.
