Shephard’s Beach Resort
If you’re looking for quiet, go elsewhere. Shephard’s proudly bills itself as Clearwater’s number one beachside entertainment resort, with a daily and nightly roster of bands, DJs, and laser shows at its famous Tiki Beach Bar & Grill, Soak Pool, and two-level gulf-front nightclub. This is an ideal place for a bachelor/ette party or girls’ weekend, where it feels like Spring Break on the daily. Rooms are comfortable and clean but the resort does not make it a secret that rooms may hear noise from the nightclubs. The terrace pool is a splashfest of epic proportions, always filled with rowdy crowds bobbing up and down with their cocktails in the air. The beach is a bit more peaceful, but again, you aren’t coming here for peace. While some have brought kids here, we recommend to go sans tots.
