This award-winning restaurant is one of the only steak houses in Russia to dry age and hand butcher their steaks, which are uniformly excellent and all imported from Australia, Argentina, or New Zealand; the wine list features a good selection of  imported bottles. The cozy interior has lots of Imperial Russian flair, with dim lights, old framed horseshoes, and prerevolutionary pictures. The waiters, unfortunately, are a bit hit-or-miss, ranging from excellent to aloof to downright rude. Reservations are required, and men must wear a dinner jacket.
