Planning a trip to St. Simons Island

Getting There -- Take I-95 to Ga. 25 (the Island Pkwy.) or U.S. 17 to Brunswick, where signs direct visitors across the F. J. Torras Causeway to St. Simons Island.

Visitor Information -- The Golden Isles Convention & Visitors Bureau runs a Visitors Center on the island in the Old Casino Building, 550 Beachview Dr. (tel. 912/638-9014; www.goldenisles.com), open daily 10am to 5pm.
