This venerable downtown venue has entertained visitors since 1863. Downstairs are a top Asian restaurant and a French bistro. Upstairs is the Red Room where author/artist August Strindberg and friends sat bemoaning the ills of society a hundred years ago. You can rent the room for a private dinner, but since it will cost you 7,000 kronor, you are not allowed to moan over poverty or social injustice. After that, the cryptically named "Gallery 2.35:1" is a good spot for zoning out to EDM ("electronic dance music"). Entry is by guest list, or you can try to land one of the 50 tickets available at ticnet.se. Patrons must be 23 or older.
