Bijou
Bijou is a true labor of love. Owners Aaron and Bronwyn Linley met while both studying at Stratford Chefs School back in the ’90s. Before tying the knot, and returning to Stratford to start a family, the young cooking couple set off to work and travel throughout Europe, where both became enamored with France’s neighborhood bistros. The kitchen at Bijou creates exquisite plates that change depending on what local farmers are pulling from their fields that week. The blackboard pre-theater dinner menu is a prix-fixe that runs until 7:30pm, after which the kitchen begins serving a menu of globally inspired tapas (grilled octopus with chorizo, foie gras parfait, mushroom risotto).
