love this boutique hotel, part of which is set in an 1870s mansion house. t’s warm and comfortable, with lots of sitting areas, including a wonderful library/den full of books. Hardly surprising, suppose, given that one of the owners is children’s book author Susanne Gervay, which also means the guests are often writers and artists, too! You might also run into cricket buffs, given the proximity to the Sydney Cricket Ground. Wander through to enjoy the artwork, as well as the architecture, including lovely black marble fireplaces. t’s in a great location, at the top end of Oxford Street and just across the road from Centennial Park. Eight new suites are located in a terrace house across the street.
