In this case, the ambiance seems to be taken from the Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. Most of the furnishings, walls, and floors are done in a dazzling, shiny white. Guestrooms are divided into standard, deluxe, elite, and suite, but the only difference between the first two—besides price—is the addition of a bathtub along with the standard shower stall. Many of the larger rooms face the street and so are slightly noisier, meaning that you may do better going for the lower-priced, smaller category. Spaces are chic to the extreme, with Philippe Starck plastic lamps and chairs, showers that peek-a-boo into the bedroom via a floor-to-ceiling glass wall (a privacy curtain can be drawn), and fine linens on the beds. Breakfasts are included in the cost of a night's stay as are, kindly enough, Wi-Fi and the contents of the minibar.
