This two-building Taiwanese hotel looks to the Europe of the 1890s for its style, which means your bedroom may boast a four-poster bed, elaborately draped curtains, and a dresser topped with fine marble. Bathrooms are a bit more modern, but also quite grand, fitted with more marble and each featuring a large, triangular spa tub. At the cheapest level, rooms are missing windows, but that also makes them wondrously quiet, and there are drapes where the window should be, so you won’t likely feel the lack. The real downside here is the location, which is a bit far from both the metro and the sites.
