A 10-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station brings guests to Yamano Iori, featuring public baths and meals with fresh seafood and beef. The Japanese rooms have traditional futon beds. Rooms at Hodakaso Yamano Iori include tatami (woven-straw) floors and shoji paper screens. All have an attached bathroom with a bathtub and Western toilet. Separate indoor baths are provided for men and women. Meals are served in the banquet hall and feature the famous Hida beef and freshly caught seafood from the Japan Sea. Hida No Sato Minzoku Mura Folk Village and Shoren-ji Temple are a 10-minute taxi ride away.
