The city's public-transportation agency, StarMetro (tel. 850/891-5200), provides city bus service from its downtown terminal, at Tennessee and Adams streets ($1.25 adults, 60ยข seniors and kids 12 and under). The ticket booths there and at the Tallahassee Area Visitor Information Center have route maps and schedules. Some routes even have free Wi-Fi!
For taxi service, call Yellow Cab (tel. 850/580-8080) or City Taxi (tel. 850/562-4222). Fares are about $2.50 at flag fall, plus $2.50 per mile.
