“Jaffa Tales” at the Old Jaffa Visitor’s Center

When history meets multimedia exhibits at visitors’ centers, the results are often tacky. Not here. This site is literally cool, occupying as it does a cavernous space underneath Old Jaffa’s central Kedumim Square (Kikar Kedumim). Inside there are historical artifacts plucked from the town’s millennia of history, glass walkways over an archaeological site, and a fine sound-and-light show.
