This high-rise on a sides street just off Ha-Yarkon Street, and next to one of the city’s northernmost beaches, is one of the best bargains in the well-run Atlas Chain (we’re constantly seeing it on discount sites, so surf the internet before booking). We also like the locale, close to the Tel Aviv Port, with its many restaurants. Guest rooms are terrifically cheery, with red chairs and brightly striped coverlets; we hear that they’re going to be renovating soon, so the décor may be slightly different by the time you read this. Families with kids will appreciate the comparatively spacious guest rooms, the numerous rooms with connecting doors and the short walk to the beach, with no major streets to cross. Staff is generally very helpful. The no. 4 bus and sherut will whisk you to the more central parts of town. The Tal lends free bikes to guests. Alas, there’s no on-site pool here.
