A stalwart in the Tel Aviv tourism scene, the Tal is a long-time favorite choice for tour groups so it can feel crowded. But it does occupy a prime location between the beach and the Tel Aviv Port, which guests can explore with a complimentary bike. The decor is contemporary, if unimaginative: a vertical green wall at the entrance and pleasant blue palettes in the rooms (all recently renovated). The lobby bar hosts a happy hour every evening, serving cava and burekas. The breakfast buffet, included in the room rate, offers the standard fare of eggs, waffles and assorted salad, as well as more health-conscious options like chia seed smoothies. On the parking level, there’s a small but clean gym and dry sauna. Alas, there's no pool.
