The food and ambiance here is very similar to, but perhaps a tiny step above, its rival, Barbunya. That’s because Shtsupak offers a more leisurely pace at the meal, portions that are a bit more generous, and a wider range of sauces and meze appetizers (included in the price.) There’s also a sidewalk dining terrace, a nice touch. All of which is why we think it’s worth the walk or taxi ride from the hotel district. Reservations recommended.
