Noah’s
When opportunity knocked in 2009, young chef Noah Schwartz returned home to follow his culinary dreams after working for seven years in California's wine country. The Long Island native nabbed a prime Front Street restaurant spot across from Greenport's lively waterfront. Inventive and uninhibited, Noah's is a small-plate restaurant that boasts a top-notch raw bar and a rotation of full plates to please the larger appetite. The menu starts with "Tastes" such as Moroccan spiced chickpea hummus, duck rillete on grilled bread with chives, or warm gruyère cheese puffs. The best of the raw bar includes Noah's Seafood Tower: a half lobster, shrimp, oysters, clams, and ceviche—and locally sourced gems such as Shinnecock Sea Scallop Ceviche and Pipes Cove oysters harvested from Greenport’s legendary oyster beds. Small plates are big on flavor, with crispy Tasmanian red crab tacos, local calamari fritto misto, and Crescent Farm pulled duck barbecue with smoked cheddar polenta. Full plates deliver with a local seafood bouillabaisse, pan-seared Montauk tuna and a grilled hanger steak. You'll want to call ahead as this has fast become a landmark on Front Street
