Getting There -- From Kennacraig (West Loch, Tarbert) you can go to Port Askaig, on Islay , and then take one of the Caledonian MacBrayne ferries (tel. 08705/650-000; www.calmac.co.uk). The cost is £47 for a car and £8.80 per passenger each way (4-day round-trip tickets are more economical). From Port Askaig, you can take a second ferry to Feolin on Jura; contact Western Ferries (tel. 01369/704-452; www.western-ferries.co.uk). Car spaces must be booked in advance. The cost for a vehicle is £10, plus £3.60 for a passenger one-way.
