Inn at Cape Kiwanda
Every room has an ocean view—but in many of them, you have to look across a parking lot to see it. That’s the one drawback, for me, at this otherwise comfortable and well-run hotel across the street from the busy beach at Cape Kiwanda Natural Area. The pluses are big view windows (the corner rooms are best), private balconies, and gas fireplaces. The furnishings here remind me of a suburban home, with a style that leans toward the traditional. The Pelican Pub & Brewery, which runs the inn, is right across the street.
