The modern, popular Aviv, located on a quiet street in downtown Tiberias, offers large, air conditioned no-frills rooms with kitchenettes. The rooms (called holiday flats) vary in layout, so check a few if possible. Some are one room and a separate kitchenette; others contain a living area, separate bedroom, and kitchen and are good for groups or families. All flats have balconies, and some have whirlpool tubs. The hotel arranges bicycle rentals and organizes tours of the area. On-street parking is permitted here and is usually available. Do not confuse this with the nearby Hostel Aviv. Rates can vary greatly, depending on the season.
