Formerly a Sheraton, and recently taken over by the Israeli Fattal Chain, this 14-story high-rise has an enviable downtown location overlooking the waterfront, although it offersno direct access to the lake. In 2006, the hotel was heavily renovated and a state-of-the-art spa, with a full range of massage programs, was added. The pool area is pleasantly sheltered from the promenade and open all year, but closes at 6pm; in season and on weekends there’s live entertainment and activities for children. The roomy junior suites are great for families; rooms with balconies overlooking the lake are especially nice.
