Planning a trip to Titisee
Contact the tourist office at Strandbadstrasse 4 (tel. 07651/98040; www.titisee.de). May to October, it's open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 1pm; November to April, it's open Monday to Friday 9am to noon and 1:30 to 5pm.
Getting There
By Train
From Freiburg, trains arrive at intervals of every 30 minutes (trip time: 40 min.). The Titisee rail station is on Parkstrasse. For information call tel. 01805/996633 or visit www.bahn.de.
By Bus
Bus connections into Titisee are mostly limited to rural hamlets within the surrounding Schwarzwald. For information, call the local bus company at their office in Neustadt, Südbaden Bus GmbH, at tel. 07651/9365880 (www.suedbadenbus.de).
By Car
Titisee is set near the junction of highways B31 and B317, clearly marked from the larger towns that surround it. Driving time from Freiburg is 45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic; from Stuttgart the trip takes 90 minutes.
